Preservation Products tin roof repair systems are based on the concept that "tin" or terne metal, when properly protected, can provide the base for an extremely durable roofing system. Preservation Products roof restoration systems for tin roofs were tested and proven on historic structures in Cape May, New Jersey and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Preservation Products offers three roof restoration systems for tin roofs, using proprietary elastomeric coatings: 

• HP-1 Fully Reinforced Restoration System: For tin roofs in poor condition.
• HP-2 Partially Reinforced Restoration System: For tin roofs where some patching of leaks and transitional areas is required.
• HP-3 Preservation System: For tin roofs in good condition, to extend the life of the roof.
