How do the Preservation Products systems wear and how often will a recoat be required?

Preservation Products' coating systems from Acrymax have been proven to retain their physical properties, including flexibility, for over 17 years in actual exposures. The elastomeric coating system basically chalks or "erodes" at a slow rate over time.

Because it retains its basic physical properties, maintenance recoats will extend the life of the system indefinitely. We suggest that a Preservation Products elastomeric membrane system be recoated with one layer of Acrymax coating after 5-10 years, based on the particular needs of the project.
